The tour starts in Camacha near the Levada of Serra do Faial. From there we follow the levada on a pleasant ride through the green forest of the Island towards Santo da Serra. After a short stop, we descend to the Portela Viewpoint, where we are greeted by one of the most beautiful views of the Island’s northern coast. After a break to rest and recover, we follow forest trails passing through “Funduras” and the interior of the Laurisilva forest towards Fajã dos Rolos. During this ride we’ll see some species belonging to one of the Island’s indigenous forests. Length: 5 – 6 hours Distance: Approx. 40Km Trail level: Requires good fitness level and some skill
