Madeira Wine Museum

The Madeira Wine Museum is located in Funchal in a set of Baroque civil architecture buildings, it includes the oldest wine cellars of Madeira, dating from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.

The Madeira Wine Museum is located in Funchal in a set of Baroque civil architecture buildings, it includes the oldest wine cellars of Madeira, dating from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.

The cellars can be visited and have, in addition to its architectural curiosity, rooms proof, department stores, convenience store and an exhibition area which, taken together, tell the story of Madeira wine, from the vineyard production process to for processing into Madeira wine in its various castes: Sercial, Malvasia, Verdelho and Boal.
