The Monte Church built in the eighteenth century, presents an eighteenth and nineteenth century architecture.

The Monte Church built in the eighteenth century, presents an eighteenth and nineteenth century architecture. On the left side chapel is the tomb of Carlos of Hapsburg, the last emperor of Austria.

Inside the church you can enjoy also beautiful pieces of jewelery carved from sécs.XVII XVIII.
On August 15 marks the day of Our Lady of Monte, patron saint of the diocese and the city of Funchal.
