The Pico Castelo Viewpoint is located in Porto Santo Island. It is one of the vantage points to admire the beauty of this natural landscape, where you can admire some islets that surround the island and in the background the city of Vila Baleira, as the islanders Cal and Cima. This viewpoint is located 430 meters above sea level, where the nearby there are still ruins of a fortress of the sixteenth century, a symbol of defence of the populations of continued French and Algerians pirate attacks to the island.
