Ponta do Sol Harbor viewpoint lwas built by the Municipality of Ponta do Sol in the years 1848 to 1850 and was designed by engineer August Tiberius Blanc.

Ponta do Sol Harbor viewpoint lwas built by the Municipality of Ponta do Sol in the years 1848 to 1850 and was designed by engineer August Tiberius Blanc. The architectural level is very unique, with a large, well-designed arch built in basaltic stone set.

Currently has at its beginning a restaurant and a small bar overlooking the beach of Ponta do Sol. It is a landmark of the county, an ‘ex libris‘, and is therefore a must-visit place for all tourists visiting the county.
