The Saint John the Evangelist Church College is one of the most beautiful monuments of the seventeenth century. Its construction marks the transition of international mannerism to the Portuguese Baroque. This beautiful work of the Jesuits has a gilded the séc.XVII, considered one of the most valuable pieces of Portuguese seventeenth-century carvings. It also displays tiles and paintings of sécs.XVII and XVIII.
