The São Jorge Parish Church was built in the seventeenth century, it presents itself as the largest Baroque church of Madeira Island. This parish church has a main facade of unusual fenestration within the regional typology, as the portal is surmounted by three windows apron and eardrum appears another window flanked pilasters supporting straight cornice.
