It occupies an area of 145 000 m2, is a must for all visitors and is unique within the genus in Portugal.

The park’s main attractions is its four multimedia pavilions; “Discovery of the Islands”, “Future of the Earth”, “Fantastic Voyage in Madeira” and “A world of islands, the islands in the world.” A replica of the Monte train, the traditional oxcarts with the networks, the typical Santana house, one mill a maze and a lake are other attractive elements of the Park.

The gardens with Madeiran flora and footpaths are another asset to this cultural and scientific hub.
