The Pico Fortim Viewpoint is located in Porto da Cruz parish. It offers a fascinating view of the western part of the island, as the Ponta de S. Lourenço and Penha d’Águia. The Pico Fortim Viewpoint was built as a lookout point in 1708. Currently we can still see the brick walls gray basalt.
